Tilshers On Holiday.....

What a SUMMER! We have been so blessed by all the things we have done this year. i know it's been almost 3 months since my last post! that's terrible! but with good reason...=) I say i am goign to try to keep this blog short, but with 3 months to catch up on.... you better get your coffee and then read on....=)

Shortly after mark returned home, we spent a wonderful week in Spain, it was the most fun we have ever had together. we did nothing but the beach...the kids had so much fun, and mark and i were able to relax and just be.... definatly on our top 3 places in the world to visit! you can see our pictures here: http://s246.photobucket.com/albums/gg95/atilsher/?action=view&current=238181c1.pbw

The rest of the summer brought on crazy work schedules for mark, and lots of extra activities. we walked 1-2 miles everyday in preperation for our trip to Disney in August. Justice and kyree are growing to fast. Justice's favorite things to learn about now are the solar system, animals of all kind, and how "things" work. he will take apart the remote, vacume antyhing if i let him! Kyree, is so busy being BIG that there isn't much time for anything else with her. You can hug her if you can catch her, and snuggle only when you sneak in on her during her sleep. She loves to be a tease, and has found that being a Kitty day and night is her new favorite thing. she meows all day and already has such an imagination. Justice never pretended to be anything for more than a few minutes... so it's so funny to us. MEOW! oh, and peanut butter is the only thing we can get her to eat for breakfast! ..lunch, oh and dinner =)

August brought on lots of yard sales and that was fun for us! Junking for me has come to a halt for the time being, but i will eventually take it up again in the future. for now i find things here and there and that keeps me busy online. I have been sorthing through the house, and getting things in order for my parents to arrive. ( in just 3 more weeks!!) We are looking forward to them coming and please remember to keep them in prayer the next few weeks as they transition over.

Mark and I left our church days before our family vacay, during which time we have been able to reflect and are so excited to see what is in store for us here in germany in the next few months. we have all these wonderful ministry ideas that the Lord has given us over the last year, and we feel that now may be the time to start doing them. Please keep us in your prayers as we seek the lord in this area. Our hearts are for the military and families. and how we can minister one on one to families the Lord puts in our path the way they need to be ministered to.

Mark and I had also been planning on doing a bible study & fellowship at our home 2 times a month for the last few months, and really praying about that, and we think this is going to start soon as well. we are just so excited about so many things, and already have had some confirmations about his plans, and we are just thankful; there isn't any other way to put it... for when we can't see the things ahead, he says Trust me...

while on our trip mark was trying to teach justice how to float on his back in the pool. my son was so scared, he was clinging to mark and wouldnt let go. Mark was annoyed and in a firm way over and over he kept saying TRUST me, justice listen to me (he was crying and kicking) TRUST ME, justice i won't drop you, justice! listen! TRUST me...this went on for half hour and i was thinking to myself how God must sound in his frusteration when trying to teach me that very thing? Angela! Trust me!! i wont drop you!, and how easy for ourselves to desperatly hang on to our flesh, afraid of letting go??? How easy it is to get so dependant on the things around you, that you forget to let go and look to God for our dependancy.

FLORIDA!!! we just got home friday! we had the most wonderful vacation! 3 weeks of SUN and MICKEY MOUSE, who can complain??? =) the first week we visited with marks family.

His mother was able to meet the kids for the very first time. it was very special. her name is Serbrina, so the kids love to call her Grandma Bean. =) it's very sweet. we also went to seaworld with her, and did some yard -saling.

our first day to disney we tried to be the first family there! we were. you know what that means?? WE OPENED THE PARK WITH MICKEY MOUSE!!!

we were escorted on to a a private ride into the park, then to mickey's house and ALL charachters came out of the house just to meet us and the kids.... it was soooo cool. i can' t wait to show you the pictures. then we got on the train WITH all teh charachters, and mickey sat next to us to the main gate, where we all got off on stage with mickey and his friends to do a countdown to open the park , they announced our family name and told mark thank you for his service for our country and we threw confetti and the crowd poured in. they gave us a certificate for a year of a million dreams, and then gave us free pics of it all. everyone was so nice to the kids, and they got free autograph books. can you even believe it!! mark died and went to heaven! =) we all did, it was very special to us. they are only doing that for families this year only ... so if you go try to do it, you wont regret it! here is a video clip :

we stayed in a great villa with 2 bedrooms and went to the pools, ( the kids favorite was the disney hotel pool "hippie Dippie".. went to teh beach once( the weather was to windy for us to go much) and had a chance to visit the John F. Kennedy Space Center.

we all thought that was so neat. i really wanted justice to have a chance to see all that since i am not sure when we will go there again, and he is so into space. we spent a total of 10- 12 days at disney, and the rest at the pool or shopping. I did my damage, and litterally shopped till i couldnt' take it anymore! =) we went with 2 suitcases and came home with 8! plus i shipped 3 boxes. you have to remember that for me, it has been 6 years since i had been in the states... so it was a big deal to visit all my favorite spots. but i found that everythnig was just to expensive. =( only bought from the Outlet malls and ROSS. (my ultimate fav for decor!!)

one of the last days we were there, we had reservations at a resturant ( by the way mark planned our entire trip, and even had reservations for all our meals, and a mapped out plan for us so we never had to wait in any lines at disney... he organized all our quiet time and free time... he did AWESOME!! i have the best husband! he made this trip so perfect for our family.... thanks beloved!) and on our way they stopped and asked us if we wanted to go to this other one instead....this resturant has a year waiting list, and we got the best table in the house, they charged us half price and Mark got to be in the show! it was so funny and so much fun!

the kids did great on the plane there, with only a melt down the last hour. and neither of them slept. on the way home they both slept the whole way.

If you ask the kids what their favorites were they are: "TWinker bell" she flies out of the castle during the fireworks, (justice loooooves her, and after denying him is own twinkerbell doll, for days on end, we finally figured out that he didn't really want to have a girly doll for fun, but becuase she can FLY! and so if he has her he can too!!! =) KIDS!

Winnie the pooh ride... we rode it like 5 times in a row without getting of one night, and probably 21 times total..... the tea cups, another favorite, and the 3D showing of Mickey's Philharmagic. i think we soaw that 10 times. and one night 3 times in a row? mommie's a little weesie ....??? =) nd Goofy's roller coaster (kyrees ulitmate adventure)!!

The kids enjoyed all the Charachter meals, and had met all their favorite friends. we ate mickey waffles every morning, and the kids got to do a mini parade around the rooms with pooh, daisy etc.. kyree's favorite, not so much justice. (he was to shy) we spent our last day at disney just hours before the plane. it's always sad to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom. Mark and I had the kids wave goodbye to mickey's castle, and we both had tears..... to all the memories and fun! and for that little bit of time.... we were kids!

There are so many more stories that i want to share, but i know you all have a life to live. =)

but to end this on a Happier note... we found out the day before we flew home that MARK MADE TECH! for my civillian friends- He was PROMOTED!!!! He was so nervous about it, and now he did it! I am proud of him, and he studied so hard for it. he also tested really high, only 8% did better than he did. so he did well. =) Another Praise and thank you to the Lord who made this possible.

May you all be blessed and be encouraged in all you do as you live for Him. May you know that we are always thinking of you even when i can't write indivdually all the time, i miss each of you that are far away, and you are always on our hearts. thank you for taking the time to read our blog, and to be connected to our family. we are so thankful to have each of you in our life. even some for only a season, sometimes we are close for such a short time, some for a long time. sometimes the lord removes us completely to where we only recieve photos and blog updates, but i want you to know that no matter what the season our friendship is in, i am truly greatful to have been a part of your life.

Mark and I both are. and now we are about to begin many new changes here in Germany, and some of you i may not be able to see as often and some of you are pcs-ing (the ulitmate bummer), but we know that the Lord gives, and takes away.... and through this Blessed be his name.... we are so greatful for each of you!

Thanks for sharing your vacation with us! It was a joy to hear all your fun...it brought tears to my eyes as I think about your beautiful family, and all your adventures with those precious babies.
I know the Lord will continue to lead you where He knows you be a blessing (as you always are!). You both have willing hearts to serve and love Him and most important to share His love! I'm excited to hear about your new ministries...
I am so bummed I didn't get to see you all, but I treasured our over the phone slumber party! :)
Thanks again for blessing us with the passes. We went to Epcot and had a BLAST! We thought of you all day as we called each other Mark, Angela, Kyree and Landon-Justis! :)

Keep these wonderful blogs coming...and have a blessed fall! (It's sooooo beautiful this time of year in Germany! Enjoy!)
We love and miss you...~Roxanne and family
