Every day we say our verses at the table during breakfast lunch etc... they learn one every few weeks or so. i usually wont teach them a new one till we apply it to their life, and they "get" the verse they are learning. they love it and i thought this particular video was worth a share!

Tilshers On Holiday.....

What a SUMMER! We have been so blessed by all the things we have done this year. i know it's been almost 3 months since my last post! that's terrible! but with good reason...=) I say i am goign to try to keep this blog short, but with 3 months to catch up on.... you better get your coffee and then read on....=)

Shortly after mark returned home, we spent a wonderful week in Spain, it was the most fun we have ever had together. we did nothing but the beach...the kids had so much fun, and mark and i were able to relax and just be.... definatly on our top 3 places in the world to visit! you can see our pictures here: http://s246.photobucket.com/albums/gg95/atilsher/?action=view&current=238181c1.pbw

The rest of the summer brought on crazy work schedules for mark, and lots of extra activities. we walked 1-2 miles everyday in preperation for our trip to Disney in August. Justice and kyree are growing to fast. Justice's favorite things to learn about now are the solar system, animals of all kind, and how "things" work. he will take apart the remote, vacume antyhing if i let him! Kyree, is so busy being BIG that there isn't much time for anything else with her. You can hug her if you can catch her, and snuggle only when you sneak in on her during her sleep. She loves to be a tease, and has found that being a Kitty day and night is her new favorite thing. she meows all day and already has such an imagination. Justice never pretended to be anything for more than a few minutes... so it's so funny to us. MEOW! oh, and peanut butter is the only thing we can get her to eat for breakfast! ..lunch, oh and dinner =)

August brought on lots of yard sales and that was fun for us! Junking for me has come to a halt for the time being, but i will eventually take it up again in the future. for now i find things here and there and that keeps me busy online. I have been sorthing through the house, and getting things in order for my parents to arrive. ( in just 3 more weeks!!) We are looking forward to them coming and please remember to keep them in prayer the next few weeks as they transition over.

Mark and I left our church days before our family vacay, during which time we have been able to reflect and are so excited to see what is in store for us here in germany in the next few months. we have all these wonderful ministry ideas that the Lord has given us over the last year, and we feel that now may be the time to start doing them. Please keep us in your prayers as we seek the lord in this area. Our hearts are for the military and families. and how we can minister one on one to families the Lord puts in our path the way they need to be ministered to.

Mark and I had also been planning on doing a bible study & fellowship at our home 2 times a month for the last few months, and really praying about that, and we think this is going to start soon as well. we are just so excited about so many things, and already have had some confirmations about his plans, and we are just thankful; there isn't any other way to put it... for when we can't see the things ahead, he says Trust me...

while on our trip mark was trying to teach justice how to float on his back in the pool. my son was so scared, he was clinging to mark and wouldnt let go. Mark was annoyed and in a firm way over and over he kept saying TRUST me, justice listen to me (he was crying and kicking) TRUST ME, justice i won't drop you, justice! listen! TRUST me...this went on for half hour and i was thinking to myself how God must sound in his frusteration when trying to teach me that very thing? Angela! Trust me!! i wont drop you!, and how easy for ourselves to desperatly hang on to our flesh, afraid of letting go??? How easy it is to get so dependant on the things around you, that you forget to let go and look to God for our dependancy.

FLORIDA!!! we just got home friday! we had the most wonderful vacation! 3 weeks of SUN and MICKEY MOUSE, who can complain??? =) the first week we visited with marks family.

His mother was able to meet the kids for the very first time. it was very special. her name is Serbrina, so the kids love to call her Grandma Bean. =) it's very sweet. we also went to seaworld with her, and did some yard -saling.

our first day to disney we tried to be the first family there! we were. you know what that means?? WE OPENED THE PARK WITH MICKEY MOUSE!!!

we were escorted on to a a private ride into the park, then to mickey's house and ALL charachters came out of the house just to meet us and the kids.... it was soooo cool. i can' t wait to show you the pictures. then we got on the train WITH all teh charachters, and mickey sat next to us to the main gate, where we all got off on stage with mickey and his friends to do a countdown to open the park , they announced our family name and told mark thank you for his service for our country and we threw confetti and the crowd poured in. they gave us a certificate for a year of a million dreams, and then gave us free pics of it all. everyone was so nice to the kids, and they got free autograph books. can you even believe it!! mark died and went to heaven! =) we all did, it was very special to us. they are only doing that for families this year only ... so if you go try to do it, you wont regret it! here is a video clip :

PICTURES OF OUR TRIP
http://s246.photobucket.com/albums/gg95/atilsher/disney/?action=view&current=bad8d0f0.pbw

we stayed in a great villa with 2 bedrooms and went to the pools, ( the kids favorite was the disney hotel pool "hippie Dippie".. went to teh beach once( the weather was to windy for us to go much) and had a chance to visit the John F. Kennedy Space Center.

we all thought that was so neat. i really wanted justice to have a chance to see all that since i am not sure when we will go there again, and he is so into space. we spent a total of 10- 12 days at disney, and the rest at the pool or shopping. I did my damage, and litterally shopped till i couldnt' take it anymore! =) we went with 2 suitcases and came home with 8! plus i shipped 3 boxes. you have to remember that for me, it has been 6 years since i had been in the states... so it was a big deal to visit all my favorite spots. but i found that everythnig was just to expensive. =( only bought from the Outlet malls and ROSS. (my ultimate fav for decor!!)

one of the last days we were there, we had reservations at a resturant ( by the way mark planned our entire trip, and even had reservations for all our meals, and a mapped out plan for us so we never had to wait in any lines at disney... he organized all our quiet time and free time... he did AWESOME!! i have the best husband! he made this trip so perfect for our family.... thanks beloved!) and on our way they stopped and asked us if we wanted to go to this other one instead....this resturant has a year waiting list, and we got the best table in the house, they charged us half price and Mark got to be in the show! it was so funny and so much fun!

the kids did great on the plane there, with only a melt down the last hour. and neither of them slept. on the way home they both slept the whole way.

If you ask the kids what their favorites were they are: "TWinker bell" she flies out of the castle during the fireworks, (justice loooooves her, and after denying him is own twinkerbell doll, for days on end, we finally figured out that he didn't really want to have a girly doll for fun, but becuase she can FLY! and so if he has her he can too!!! =) KIDS!

Winnie the pooh ride... we rode it like 5 times in a row without getting of one night, and probably 21 times total..... the tea cups, another favorite, and the 3D showing of Mickey's Philharmagic. i think we soaw that 10 times. and one night 3 times in a row? mommie's a little weesie ....??? =) nd Goofy's roller coaster (kyrees ulitmate adventure)!!

The kids enjoyed all the Charachter meals, and had met all their favorite friends. we ate mickey waffles every morning, and the kids got to do a mini parade around the rooms with pooh, daisy etc.. kyree's favorite, not so much justice. (he was to shy) we spent our last day at disney just hours before the plane. it's always sad to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom. Mark and I had the kids wave goodbye to mickey's castle, and we both had tears..... to all the memories and fun! and for that little bit of time.... we were kids!

There are so many more stories that i want to share, but i know you all have a life to live. =)

but to end this on a Happier note... we found out the day before we flew home that MARK MADE TECH! for my civillian friends- He was PROMOTED!!!! He was so nervous about it, and now he did it! I am proud of him, and he studied so hard for it. he also tested really high, only 8% did better than he did. so he did well. =) Another Praise and thank you to the Lord who made this possible.

May you all be blessed and be encouraged in all you do as you live for Him. May you know that we are always thinking of you even when i can't write indivdually all the time, i miss each of you that are far away, and you are always on our hearts. thank you for taking the time to read our blog, and to be connected to our family. we are so thankful to have each of you in our life. even some for only a season, sometimes we are close for such a short time, some for a long time. sometimes the lord removes us completely to where we only recieve photos and blog updates, but i want you to know that no matter what the season our friendship is in, i am truly greatful to have been a part of your life.

Mark and I both are. and now we are about to begin many new changes here in Germany, and some of you i may not be able to see as often and some of you are pcs-ing (the ulitmate bummer), but we know that the Lord gives, and takes away.... and through this Blessed be his name.... we are so greatful for each of you!

Kyree's Birthday Celebration....

Hi!!
here are the pictures and a little bit about kyree's 2nd birthday!! She is 2!!

Since my mom was in town that weekend, and it was mark's first weekend home we were all able to have a nice family celebration. It was Marks birthday, my brother Seans' birthday (kyree's godfather) too! This was my mom's first time being here for one of the kids birthdays, so it meant alot to us.

Kyree was so excited for her birthday, no one was home when she woke from her nap, so when i brought her downstairs she said in a whisper.."WOW!! Birthday party time!!!" and i held her and we walked around to see all the decorations, and she says " oh, thank you mommy! thank you!" ... it was so sweet. then she hurried to have me put on her party dress and this girls SAT in her highchair for 45 minutes WAITING for the party to start.... nothing could get her out and she just sat patiently! it was sooooooo cute!

She did great! both my kids have always loved their parties and were so into it; so it's always alot of fun for us!

Everyone had their own favorite cake, and had their own moment! =)

for mark's birthday i completely cleaned out our garage, and turned into a wood shop, (non junk storage!) just for him! i was so excited about it- and had been working on it since Feb, till the night before he came home, i just wanted him to come home with no big jobs weighing over his head. he LOVED it! you can see the video ...

kyree's favorite gift was her new doll house. since the day she was born we have not been able to get her to play with any toy for more than 5 min... she is always on the go.. this did it! 2 hours straight... and still going! =)

here is a picture of the kids with the new cousin Sir Henry! this is Sean's dog, that my mom brought over. We all love him! he is also a miracle dog...survived a 2 car accident last year.

Mark is Home!

We just wanted to send out a quick memo to let you all know that mark arrived home Safe and sound early friday morning!

One of our best friends came out to pick him up at the airport and brought him home, and we surprised the kids! Mark and I both had tears.... it's funny when you first see each other; it's like you just saw each other yesturday.... that's a GREAT feeling!

Kyree was so sweet, and had no problems greeting daddy. "my daddy, Miss you daddy, and love you daddy..." were some of the words she said throughout the day.
justice ran and hid as soon as he saw Mark coming, complete with under the covers in his bed!
He loves this and it's his favorite game of hide and seek and so that was great for him!

The same morning my mom flew in from Alaska to bring over my brother's dog, (she was here fro just 4 days) and so we were able to have her and the family over for dinner that night and visits throughout the weekend and celebrating kyree's birthday! PHEW!

Mark will be off the next 3 weeks. his time off starts Wed. and then we will be heading to spain on the 14th for 7 days. i just wanted to let you know that during these 3 weeks we will be having some serious family time and adjusting to each other and so my internet time will be limited. =) so even while mark is off i am considering all of us off, and i will write or call when i can! thanks for always writing and for being our friends! ( and family!!!) we are so greatful to be together; and for those of you locally we are looking forward to family fellowships once again! i will be sending out another blog this weeks with ky's 2nd birthday photos!

love always US!

Summer's coming...

Well it's again been forever since i updated. =) i have become "one of those people" =)
It's already May and we have so much to look forward to this year!
Kyree's second birthday is next weekend.... she is going to be such an interesting 2 year old. =) i love her! she is so much fun for us! she is talking all the time now, and has her way of making jokes. i hate to see her turn 2 becuase now there are no more babies in the house. =( It's a sad day when you take the changing table out of her room for a big girl dresser, or when someone asks how old she is, i don't count in "months" anymore. Kyree's new thing is picking on justice whenever possible.. (pray for us!)

Justice is growing and wants to be on his own for everything. i find that we butt heads alot becuase i think he still needs help, and he is so matter of fact.I kiss him on the cheek and he says "YECKTH" ( a truly devasting moment for mommy!) he spends his mornings outside looking for lizards for his bug box, he storms around with deep noises to scare little sister into thinking he is a dinosaur. and yet, when i think he is all to grown up like a typical big boy,and the days of choo choo trains and his blankey are over... he asks me to sing him twinkle twinkle little star, and his favorite "hold me" 1950's do-op song that i have sang since he was little. and then i see that i still have time before he is BIG! =)

Mark is doing okay with his deployment. his tour was extended an additional 2 weeks, and we are crushed. We are planning on heading to spain for holiday when he returns, but he just might barely make it. if not we will have to meet him there, as our trip is already paid for. We miss him so much! Mark is eager to come home, and we are just both counting the days. Please keep us in prayer! We have a good month to go!

As for me, well... i am always good at staying busy! we have had quite a few months. the kids and i do lots of things well ALL things together and so we have taken this time to train, for example i never took them to the post office with me before mark left, that was just so hard =) , now we are there 3 times a week, and they have learned how to behave there.! so i guess that's a praise! =) we have our moments though. there are days i don't want to be a mom anymore, and i feel the pressure of doing all the right things weighing me down. And there are good days when the days went smooth and i was proud. but one thing i have learned is that there is nothing i can't do without the grace of God. He has shown me so much the last few months, and i am so grateful to have Him to count on. i have learned the seriousness of child training, and the lord has been working on our marriage too. we will be married 7 years this july! it's crazy to think how long it's been.... but then again???? =)

i have had lots of time to catch up on old projects and start new ones. =) i love having this major Goal of Daddy coming home, so i can have a serious deadline to hold myself to. =)
i am still buying/selling/reselling and loving it! Yard sale season is underway and remains the constant sunshine at the weeks end!!

i hope you enjoyed these pictures! we love the camel! i will let you all know when mark makes it home! thank you for always thinking of us, and for praying for us too!

Love US!
